Is Cloudflare really that good?
#1
I've heard some good results of using Cloudflare name servers, but I've also heard bad experiences.  Looks as though Cloudflare can only really be good if one's ISP is situated close to the Cloudflare hubs.

Am wondering what experiences people have had with Cloudflare, both the good and not so good.

I don't like Cloudflare because of their advertisement method, If it is related to forum and blog then it can be bad for visitor specially If always ask for recaptcha verification.

I don't have a good experience with them. Slow speed in some country and many people block their IPs.

Neither have I.  For me it was a really slow down.  Almost bringing my Website to a stop.  Probbly because I'm situated far from their hob.  From an Admin point of view I don't particularly like those kind of name servers either.  Not sure who one is dealing with.

CF usually selects the nearest hub for you, i had rather fast speeds on my website and they protected my website from a minor/small DDOS attack

I love Cloudflare, they stop my bitcoin sites from being attacked. You watch those without them, they go down almost daily.
